Prince Harry lived a somewhat tumultuous life up to a certain point. He was known as a party animal. Why? Well, rather obviously, he liked to party. A lot. He was well and truly the wild child of the British royal family.
But that period is gone. He’s a gentleman now, not least due to his national service and of course, meeting Hollywood sweetheart Meghan Markle – it has been said that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry graced each other’s lives when set up on a blind date by a mutual friend. They hit it off massively and fell in love. Harry proposed. Meghan said yes. A national wedding was announced. We’re sure it’s going to be a beautiful affair.
Why though, are we a Verbier chalet company, talking about this? Because Prince Harry has declared his want for his stag due to be in Verbier, the home of our astounding chalets. So we’re going to discuss it!
The stag due, no doubt, will be a part of the wildest variety. Although he has calmed down and become an aspiring family man, it’s his last night of freedom as they say. So where’s it going on?
Verbier is the playground of the rich, so naturally, there are a whole plethora of venues fitting to Prince Harry’s stag desires. Although we bet he won’t have much involvement – it’ll mostly be his staff. Today we’re taking estimates at whereabouts Harry’s stag could be:
La Vache is a bona fide classic when it comes to Verbier. It often rings in crowds ready for a few drinks and a good time. It isn’t exactly the place where some will become starstruck too; Ed Sheeran, Bear Grylls, and James Blunt are among its locals. However, that shouldn’t exactly be a consideration anyhow as we’re sure the place will be hired out on behalf of the prince.
Could it be here? Very well could be. We’d out La Vache near the top of potential destinations.
Pub Mont Bar is a staple in Verbier; frequented by tourists and locals, it continues to be one of the most thriving hotspots in the community. Serving only the best beers, ciders, wines, and spirits from around the world, this place sure seems like it could home the drinking segment of Harry’s evening. We suspect the place may be a bit too casual for such an evening, however.
Carve is an up-market eatery which serves only the finest Japanese cuisine. Part of the W Hotel new build, this is a strong contender for Prince Harry’s stag. Somewhat a matrix, the outfit could serve the fine tastes of potential clientele, as well as doubling as a nightclub later on in the evening.
Scalco could perhaps be the destination if, say, the evening was intended to be more of the benevolent nature. At Scalco Harry and his entourage could have a civilised evening testing the local cuisine, celebrating his last night of freedom with dignity. However, we don’t think that’s Prince Harry we know. So although a potential suitor, we don’t believe his team will settle with this location.
La Channe, although gaining a questionable reputation in recent months, was the choice of location when soon-to-be-king Prince William came to visit Verbier. Due to this, it’s fair to say that Prince William could also perhaps choose this as a suitor for his little brother’s due. Who’s to know? At the end of the day, it’s all conjectures, well-informed conjectures…
