This annual event returns for its 26th edition, in the centre of Verbier. The Festival attracts some of the biggest names in classical music and fans of the genre from around the globe. With three stages – the Main Stage, Unlimited and Verbier Generation – playing host to a catalogue of leading names in this music type, the event promises to provide a compelling soundtrack to your summer.

Verbier Festival is held between July 18th and August 4th, and there are a number of ticket types available via the event’s official website – ranging from CHF 50. – CHF 220. The event also provides suitable entry for visitors with reduced mobility.
With a melody of techno, house and electronic music on display at Polaris, attendees really are treated to a range of different sounds and beats. Held in Les Esserts, located just above the village of Verbier, the sounds of this four day event resonate through the majestic Swiss Alps. An annual party in the clouds that provides a breathtaking overall experience and one that is not to be missed.
The main stage, which houses all the biggest artists year on year, is located at the Golf Club of Verbier while two nearby clubs associated with the event, Farinet and L’Etoile, offer alternative party environments. Last year, established and highly acclaimed artists such as Carl Craig, BEN UFO and DJ Reas lit up the festival.
The date for Polaris Festival has not yet been released although it is typically held at the end of November, or the start of December. Look out for the lineup, official dates, and chalet rental in Verbier closer to the event!
This traditional, annual mid-summer festival offers a selection of activities that will put a smile on the faces of attendees from any generation. Here’s everything you need to know about Family Festival, which takes place on August 11th, in La Chaux, Verbier:
The doors open at 11am with celebrations taking place throughout the day against the glorious backdrop of the Combins massif – a prominent mountain in the heart of the Alps.
Various food stands will be serving grilled dishes and a range of locally grown fresh produce that excite the taste buds.
An unconfirmed band will deliver a unique set on stage at 2.15pm, at an altitude of more than 2000 metres.
Activities include bouncy castles, face painting, a slackline, a climbing wall and much, much more!

Part of the Palp Festival lineup, Electrolette presents attendees with the opportunity to indulge in all forms of electro music over two days, in Verbier. Situated 2000 metres up, the first day takes place in La Chaux while the second day will take place in a secret spot, which is to be revealed a little closer to the time. Well known artists in the electro genre will take to the decks and have attendees dancing from dusk till dawn.
You’ll also have the chance to enjoy a tasting of Valais’ famous raclette cheese. The semi-hard cheese comes in many varieties, all of which will be available for sampling at Electrolette. There will be something on offer for people of all ages, with educational workshops on cheese and the music that makes this festival, being held throughout both days.
