Verbier Break This Easter? Sounds Good.
The Easter break is fast approaching and while many seem to believe that Easter is generally a bad time for a skiing getaway, today we’re going to try to prove you wrong. We don’t think we’ll have to try too hard either; there’s a great case for a Verbier Break this year. All we have to do is just lay out the facts for you. The beautiful facts of Verbier; they’re hard to say no to, aren’t they?
So, a Verbier ski break this Easter. Wild, no? No. It isn’t wild. Here’s the first point in our argument
It’s An Early Easter
Easter falls on April 1st this year, meaning the break will begin before that. Although temperatures during that time of year average out at around 10 degrees, the snow will more than likely be good this Easter due to the fact it’s earlier.
Wouldn’t it great to celebrate your Easter on the slopes? Rather than watching an action-packed weekend of football whilst over-indulging in chocolate, you could be on the planes of white finessing your skiing and consuming some of the world’s best wonders. Hey, we personally think it’s an easy choice, but just in case you need a little more convincing here are a few more cases for an Easter Verbier break.
The Temperature, Let’s Face The Facts
We’re not kidding ourselves, the peak season is gone and the snow will be gone with it soon too, and yes, this is the perhaps one of the last chances to enjoy the peaks. But, that doesn’t not have its positives. That aforementioned 10-degree celsius weather, well, it sure makes for some good drinking weather. And it’s rather nice not having to layer up beyond belief and still shiver the day away.
Can you envision that? Having a day of skiing or snowboarding only to be followed by a pint in the apres ski bars in the glistening sunshine (10 degrees!!)? Oh, it really is the stuff dreams are made of. Plus, this time of year the bars are livelier than ever. The staff are usually overcome with joy following a successful season, meaning the energy comes in abundance. It really is a great time to visit.
Not Only That, It’s Cheaper Too
As it’s nearing the end of the peak season, very often you’ll find very cheap flights to Verbier. Sometimes, you can find a real bargain deal very close to your departure date, so if you’re worried about the weather conditions you can wait till relatively last minute.
As Easter is later in the year, it stays lighter too (we’d be surprised if you didn’t know that (very surprised)), and here in these parts that means the ski lifts stay open that little bit later. One hour to be exact. So, you get more for your money in that sense too.
The final cherry? The incredible chalets we have to offer are cheaper during Easter. Why not have a look at them, they’re incredible.
