Verbier has done it again! We are proud to announce that Verbier has been crowned the best ski resort in Switzerland at the World Ski Awards, for successive years. The Chalet Apartment Rentals team are delighted to see our region take the accolade again and wish that guests enjoy their Verbier Ski Holiday as much as they did this year, in 2020.
What makes the resort of Verbier so special is not only the astounding scenery and atmosphere but the multitude of different ski areas available to skiers of all abilities. A Verbier ski holiday is truly a unique experience, and it seems the judges on the panel of this year’s World Ski Awards agree with us on that! Claiming Switzerland ski resort of the year, especially for two years consecutively, is no mean feat.
With other jaw-dropping areas that provide good ski experiences, such as Zermatt and St. Moritz, this award is a real testament to the specialness of this place. If you’re going to make any plans to go away for the first few months of 2020, a Verbier holiday should be high up on your list.
The event took place on November 23rd and was held in Kitzbühel, Austria. Verbier and the many individuals and organisations that help make this area of Switzerland what it is were recognised at the World Ski Awards. Given that the World Ski Awards is the only initiative of its kind to celebrate ski tourism and reward certain areas around the globe for the quality of skiing and level service provided as a region, such award means even more. Here are some other winners from the evening:
Téléverbier Group, the ski lift company that has done a lot to keep Verbier as the leading Switzerland ski resort with heavy investment and facility development, has displayed their appreciation of the award. CEO of Téléverbier Group, Laurent Vaucher, commented:
“This award is the result of all the efforts made by the local actors and partners. Verbier is not only known for its great ski slopes but also for the great customer experience that everyone can enjoy. Indeed, Verbier offers its customers a complete panel of sporting, cultural and relaxation activities”
Contact us if you wish to discuss the ability of our Verbier accommodation at any stage throughout the year. We have a variety of seasonal, holiday and annual rentals on offer at any given time. Thank you to everyone who took the time to assess the competition and chose to vote for the amazing Verbier resort. We hope to see Verbier scoop a hat trick next year, as the best resort in Switzerland. Everyone at Chalet Apartment Rentals will certainly be doing their best to contribute to that feat, with the provision of some of the best quality and most competitively priced accommodation in Verbier.
